Migraines and Headaches

Migraines can be debilitating! Ranging from a slight aura and pain, to nausea, vomiting and inability to tolerate light.  Chinese medicine takes a look at the root cause of the migraines, determining if the cause is due to a blockage of flow to the head or due to the lack of nutrience within the body.  Accompanying signs and symptoms will help us determine the cause and decrease frequency and intensity of the migraines.

Repetitive Strain Injuries

Sitting in front of the computer all day, using the mouse, keypad and other technological devices has made way for repetitive strain injuries.  Carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, golfers elbow are all injuries of the muscle that are overworked and overstrained.  These muscles become inflamed restricting movement and causing pain.  Acupuncture helps to promote more blood flow to these inflamed muscles sending white blood cells with it.  This allows the body to naturally heal inflammation, restoring mobility and reducing pain.
